Description

Reception Magic is software for managing the day-to-day work of campsites and other hospitality accommodation. It aims to make everyday operations as simple as possible, in a few mouse clicks.

Requirements

Reception Magic is a client/server application, so the server and the client workstations have different requirements.

Server

  • Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005 or later
  • An operating system able to meet the requirements above

Client workstation

  • Windows XP Service Pack 2 or later, or Windows 7
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 redistributable or later

Installation

Log in with an administration account and make sure every dependency is correctly installed and configured — for the server side, refer to the online documentation. Then run the ReceptionMagicSetup installer on the client and follow the instructions.

The software can be installed on as many client workstations as the licence in use allows. For detailed installation and usage instructions, refer to the online documentation.
